Feb 15 & 22: Start with Success – Learn not only what behavior changes will set you on the road to success, but how to set goals and change ingrained behaviors. These techniques apply to weight loss, smoking cessation or any lifestyle change.
Mar 1 & 8: Nutrition and Fitness for life – The session covers the basics of nutrition and exercise, exploring how these two work together to fuel metabolism, boost energy and make you feel better! Quick tips and recipes will be shared!
March 15 & 22: Smart Shopper - Save money, save time and save your health with strategies to win the supermarket game. You will learn concrete ideas on what to put in your grocery cart.
March 29 & April 5 - Mining the Menu - Can you dine out and still lose weight? Yes, you can! We will peruse fast food, fast casual and fine dining menus. You will learn the best choices to make when eating away from home.
April 12 & 19 - Exercise Progression - Guest speaker Tommy Morrow, Exercise Physiologist, will teach us how to go beyond the exercise basics as we become more fit and stoke our internal fuel burning engines. In addition, learn safety tips to prevent injury; also, how to use your fitness device for more than just a pedometer. Join Tommy for this special segment.
April 26 & May 3 - Living in the Real World - Putting the pieces together, we will review and reinforce concepts learned throughout this Spark Series. It is very possible that you will have lost 12 - 15 pounds or more by this point! Celebrate your success!
